Still Waiting – March 18

18 Mar

She was sitting on the chair

For hours,

Stark naked.

Legs together, tight,

Hands together, tighter

Like she couldn’t move.

She was sitting

And remembering

How she felt,

When he left,

For another.

She was sitting

And looking at the door

As though he would enter

At any moment,

To touch her,

And make love to her.

It was almost a year

Since he left

And she was still dreaming

About him,

On a chair.
